The Ceceyara App app for iPhone and iPad

The Ceceyara Foundation App is an innovative way the Ceceyara Foundation is spreading awareness about child sexual abuse and ways to identify and prevent it. Aimed at both adults, parents, carers and children who are able to use smart phones, you are able to learn about methods of identifying abuse in an interactive and fun way, search through a directory of health and care centres in the Lagos city of Nigeria that can offer legal, therapeutic or health assistance to parents and/or children in need of advice, counselling or protective shelter. You’ll also able to chat live with a Ceceyara health professional if you need a safe and secure channel to report or seek help if you find yourself or someone you know in an abusive situation.

Use the Ceceyara App to:

* Learn how much you know about the methods to protect yourself or other children from sexual abuse by answering trivia questions.
* Search for help or counselling from over 200 health service or care centres all over Lagos, Nigeria.
* Locate with pin point accuracy the address of the health service or care centre closest to you with our map locator. Get navigation directions to the address via our map’s tight integrating with the map navigation function on your phone.
* Chat live or send a message at any time of the day to Ceceyara support professionals who are trained and dedicated to answering and giving a listening and believing ear in case you need to seek advice or report a case of abuse.
* Explore additional reading resources to help you learn about methods of identifying or preventing child sexual abuse or ethical ways to handle potential reports of abuse to ensure effective care is given to victims and justice is served for abusers.
